How to Make Things Happen

Seems obvious that planning is important to reach any future goal in a person’s life, since getting into a new diet, maybe a new body shape, or a new financial goal. But why we do not take the necessary steps to make it happen? I have read way over 100 books about how to improve my productivity, how to better plan, how to set amazing goals, create detailed and tailored spreadsheets… however, I still kept the same results, meaning almost nothing changed or happened, regardless of the number of tries or spite the uncomfortable situations I put my self in trying new things. At this moment I am reading the book Mastery by Robert Greene and The Obstacle is The Way by Ryan Holiday, and there are so many aspects that we should consider, that is unbelievable we are not doing it. I realized that every single test in our lives, is a step to the next level, regardless of the situation, maybe a family issue, maybe a work-related issue, or even learning how to master your own emotions. Every single learning experience that comes through trial and error is the one that increases our future capabilities.

Setbacks are the Way

Difficult situations create valuable lessons making us wiser at every single new interaction. Even setbacks may be a future blessing if interpreted as a lesson to DO NOT repeat it.

Emotions Under Control

One of my primary goals is to make sure I create habits to manage my emotions properly. Keeping my energy high and my anxiety and fear at low levels is one of my primary goals. By doing it, you can make clear decisions that are aimed toward future goals.

Quick Tips

There are thousands of ways to do it, but I will describe just 5 of the most consistent habits that help me to stay on track:

  • Sleeping every day at the same time and sleeping 7-8 hours a day

  • Going to the gym 5 times a week (if not traveling)

  • Eating healthy (no processed food)

  • Meditating 20min to 1 h every single day.

  • Being attentive to setting my environment to make the habits above easier to happen

The Environment

Setting the environment was put as the last option, but actually is the most important one. When you set it properly your everything gets more “doable”, eg.: having your gym clothes at easy access when you need them to go the gym, increases the percentage of succeeding in going to the gym through the roof!

Choose Your Environment - Ample Version

Choosing the right environment in an ample version of our direct home environment, is so important that you have no idea, and everything starts with the community that we live in. Literally, the mentality of the people around you will shape you in their form based on coexistence. As an example living in a neighborhood with drug dealers and abandoned houses, will bring fear and caution to your and your family's lives, living in a busy downtown area, will bring you more anxiety and a lack of community interaction, as we tend to separate our selves as individuals in these kinds of places, or improve ourselves when we join a community that exercise local activities, has good values, as family and care about their properties, making us part of hole where we can trust that will benefit us and our families based on the simple (but so important) coexistence process that comes with it.

Start it Today:

1 - Safe area

2 - Clean area

3 - Engaging community

4 - Opportunity of work

5 - Local amenities (e.g.: schools, gym, groceries, distance from work, the opportunity to tailor the property I wish, calm, fun, fish, hunt, capability to raise animals, etc)

To start the process, I would analyze first if I am in an environment that can contribute to my growth without my active will work on it, it is called setting the environment. Set to yourself 5 values that you looking for, I will describe below 5 regular ones that I believe all person should strive for at some time in their lives.

Planning

When you have it defined, discussed with our family (or with a friend or partner if it is just yourself) if all the desires are shared or making sense in the short and long term.

First Steps

Start searching for properties, even if you do not have the budget yet, to understand the differences between the properties, realtors are always open to answer your questions, don’t shy about it, and market research is necessary. Keep in mind that professional real estate people may help you to sell your current house to use as a down payment in the next one or even hook you up with a good lender to open more purchase options.

Action as Primary Goal

Moving forward is the only way, as much as we wish, pray, or meditate about, there is only one way to get things done, and that is through consistent actions. I use the first tips, to keep me in a good state and make myself ready to take any necessary action that will lead me to the next goal.

Move toward the Unknowns

As we go, new options, people, and opportunities will appear, that is why you do not need to plan every single portion of the process, as it will be molded based on the steps forward taken every single day.

Quick Shortcut

You always can rely on professionals who know their work, for example I have worked with real estate literally since I was a teenager, working with blueprint projects at 15 years old, I became a civil engineer at 23 years old, and just as an investor buying and selling real estate since 2017. I can quickly understand the needs of my clients and guide them to the best alternatives.

Dreams are Closer than You Think

Following the ideas above you can reach your goals in ways that you don’t even imagine because the action process will get you there. Start today drawing your new history, we have an ample diversity of properties available on our website www.lookforlots.com, or give us a call at 346-440-2424.
